Twilight deck analysis

Twilight is a term used by players to refer to a combination of many different types of monsters with DARK and LIGHT attributes, hence the name 'Twilight'.

Deck using a combination of both LIGHT and DARK monsters, firstly introduced with the still all-powerful Chaos decks, Twilight mainly focuses on milling the Deck to use Lightsworn monsters and Summon Judgment Dragon, while at the same time placing DARK monsters in the Graveyard in order to Summon Dark Armed Dragon. Since the milling effect can place vital monsters in the Graveyard Twilight decks make use of Graveyard control cards such as Monster Reincarnation, Necro Gardna and sometimes Pot of Avarice to make sure they get the cards required in the hand and Graveyard. With the high amounts of DARK and LIGHT monsters being sent to the Graveyard, Chaos Sorcerer can work very well in Twilight decks due to the mix of LIGHT and DARK monsters in this deck. Also, Tragoedia is an important monster for the deck, offering protection from OTK's, versatility as a Synchro Material and the potential to become a huge beatstick, provided the player has enough cards in his/her hand. Another good series of cards to add in this deck is the Sky Scourges which have powerful effects like the effect of Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End, such as being able to remove monsters from play or paying 1000 Lifepoints to send all cards on the field and in both player's hands to the graveyard and then drawing 1 card.
